ABOUT

My name is Evan Russell, and I am a former player for the University of Tennessee and L.A. Angels. While I was in high school, I did not understand the process of what it took to become a college baseball player. Like many others, I was told to work hard. Yes, hard work is important, but there is so much knowledge that you can gain before entering college to give you a head start. My goal is to bridge the gap between someone who wants to play college baseball but does not know how to begin.

I want to provide education for young athletes on and off the field. These camps will be a way to inform players on the mechanics that are necessary to improve their skills. It will also be a way for parents to learn about what the recruiting process looks like from a college coach's point of view.

These camps will be full of infield, outfield, hitting, and catching instruction. My goal is for each player to leave the camp with more knowledge and confidence in his abilities. At the camp, each player will be given a number to put on the back of their jersey. There will be videos and notes taken during the camp of each individual. After the camp, player's will be emailed a full report of their strengths, weaknesses, and what I think they should work on.
